Texan John Peyton credits a long line of his native state's music legends as his inspiration to his mastery of the harmonica. Peyton's total dedication to the instrument has given him a depth that few others have reached - and he's proven that fact on hundreds of recordings. John is noted for his aggressive propulsion of the many groups he has played with. His ability to laydown the tightest of grooves in recording sessions, live performances, radio and film is undeniable. It is important to note that besides being a tremendous harmonica talent, Peyton is also an accomplished drummer, writer and arranger. John is a member of the American Society of Composers Authors and Publishers and The National Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences.
